Goju Ryu in 1939 Old Movie Found
Classical Fighting Arts magazine is restoring Ryukyu no Fubutsu, a movie made in 1939 by a noted Japanese anthropologist which includes footage of Goju Ryu karate being performed by students of Chojun Miyagi Sensei. |

• Higaonna Sensei is currently attending meetings in Fuchow, China, with officials of that city. He is accompanied by noted karate researcher (and instructor), Toru Kadekaru. |
• A revised and updated edition of Higaonna Sensei’s book, The History of Karate - Goju Ryu, will be released during 2010 by the original publisher, Classical Fighting Arts magazine. This will be a limited, high quality hardback edition, copies of which will be available directly from Honbu dojo in Okinawa. See the next edition of Classical Fighting Arts magazine (Vol 2 No. 18 Issue 41) for further details.
